# Video Embeds Now Available in the Editor

We've added a highly requested feature to the Marble Editor: **native video embeds**. You can now enrich your content by placing videos directly within your documents.

### What's New

- **Direct Video Embedding:** You no longer need to rely on external platforms if you don't want to. Embed videos directly into the editor just like you would with images or codeblocks.

- **Flexible Hosting Options:**

- **Direct Upload:** Upload videos directly from your device, and they will be securely stored and managed right from your dashboard.

- **Use Your Own URL:** Already have your video hosted elsewhere? Simply paste the URL to embed it instantly.

- **Seamless Editor Experience:** Videos are treated as native components in the editor via an intuitive upload UI, making it easy to resize, move, or interact with them alongside your text.

- **Slash Command Integration:** You can quickly add a video block by typing your usual editor commands (like `/video`) to pull up the new video insertion menu.

Whether you're creating tutorials, adding visual flair, or documenting complex workflows, video embeds will make your content much more engaging.
